Position Description Summary: Manager/Senior Manager - Cluster/Category. About us: We are the brand of budget chains of Hotels in India dealing in 3 start properties. We are well funded, having total 35M$ of funding from top VCs like Goldman Sachs and Accel Partners. In around 3 years only we have expanded in more than 35 cities with 300+ hotels. We are based out of Gurgaon and your job location would be at Corporate Office Gurgaon. Conceptualized in 2014, we are full stack hotel chain as we are handling our operations and technology both in-house as Amazon and Uber do to meet high-quality demands. Our core backend is running in Real-Time for Pricing, booking, inventory control etc. through Algorithms. Our ops are fully tech-enabled from reception handling, hotel auditing to rooms check-in and checkouts. We use technology to help improve the customer experience while at the same time reducing the cost to the company. Roles &amp; Responsibilities. 1. End to end P&amp;L and strategic ownership of your categories/clusters of Fab hotel. 2. Ensure the growth and profitability of your cluster/category. 3. Develop a comprehensive understanding of your customer market, needs and behaviour to ensure that Fabhotels has a ready strategy to keep driving growth &amp; profitability in the category. 4. Groom your team continues to create a superior execution engine 5. Ensure all goals of all key category metrics are being consistently met. 6. Conceptualize, plan and execute strategic initiatives which enhance the customer experience across the customer lifecycle. 7. Own end-to-end impact delivery of projects - including ideation, problem-solving, developing an execution plan, implementation and process stabilization 8. Partner with relevant stakeholders (Product, Technology, Marketing, Contracting, Finance, Operations, Sales etc.) to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver project outcomes which positively impacts your category. 9. Regularly analyze external market trends, internal metrics and competitor strategies to generate business insights and enable gap analysis. Desired Skills and Experience: 1. Awesome Problem Solving - should be able to structure a problem, analyze data to derive insights and generate a hypothesis, identify possible solutions, and determine the scope of the project. 2. Splendid communication skills - should be able to facilitate working meetings, ask good questions, listen to the answers (really listen), and absorb what's being said. 3. Ability to handle and analyses data. 4. Good Stakeholder management - The ability to coordinate with multiple business stakeholders is also an important part of the job. You will have to break down their business problems into quantifiable metrics and insights that make sense to them. 5.
