Job Responsibilities :
- Ownership, responsibility, and accountability for creating winning solutions
- Manage stakeholders across functions that provide relevant inputs to the solution (pricing, technology, transition, etc.)
- End-to-end responsibility for conceptualizing and building high quality deliverables required during the sales cycle, including thought leadership. Typical deliverables include customized client presentations, response to RFP / RFI documents / pro-active proposals, etc.
- Owing proposal delivery responsibility end-to-end including commercial, contractual implications and third-party knowledge
- Participate in consulting / diagnostic studies / strategic projects
- Innovative solution development to client issues
- Presentation of the solutions to the customers
- Maintain awareness of new and emerging operating practices, technologies such as robotic automation, machine learning & artificial intelligence and the potential application on operations
- Managing client visits for prospects, existing clients with respect to transformation presentations
- Providing transformation solutions and roadmaps for new deals / pursuits
Previous F&A Domain Experience :
FP&A
- Preparation of annual budget & forecast starting from updating the templates till finalizing the budget numbers in the ERP system
- Capture and the policies, procedures, inputs, outputs, products, action steps, and authorities for managing budget management and financial planning
- Develop an action plan for preparing the planning, budgeting & forecasting, and forming work teams in management, beneficiaries, and stakeholders
- Determining the methods and criteria for estimating items in detail and matching them with financial statistics and components of the planning, budgeting & forecasting sections, and analysing them according TTo the previous year's numbers
- Drafting, organizing, and defining capital and operational projects in accordance with approved standards.
- Analysing, documenting, and aligning the tasks of budget management and financial planning with the job description of the approved functions of budget management and financial planning
- Updating the planning, budgeting & forecasting preparation and implementation policies and procedures manual
- Understanding the end-to-end financial setup to generate FP&A reports. Preparing a monthly and quarterly analysis report
- Strong accounting skills with excellent understanding of accounting concepts and application of accounting methodologies
- Experience in financial modelling and scenario planning and decision support
- Prior experience in Hyperion or similar tools and knowledge of finance-based ERP (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a must
Reporting :
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual Statistical returns for regulatory body for example. FRY 14Q/14M or FFIEC 101/102 or FRY-15/Call reports, FFIEC 031/FRY-9C/FRY-9LP, TIC Reports, FFIEC 009, FSB Reports, FDIC etc.
Interrogate incoming data feeds using Excel, Regulatory Reporting system and Central Bank Reporting System
Proficiency in Regulatory Reporting application ( eg Axiom)
Previous experience :
- Proven track record of establishing & growing Finance and Accounting delivery teams in the earlier organizations
- Should have led / participated in 2-3 large transformation engagements
- Proven success in Continuous Improvement / Transformation implementation strategies- strong customer orientation.
Skillsets :
- Analytical mind-set - Ability to understand client requirements and architect the appropriate solution
- Ability to innovate and ideate
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle high pressure situations and multi-task
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office - MS Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook
- Understanding of F&A and/or FP&A, Reporting will be a definite advantage
Educational qualifications :
- Chartered Accountant will be given preference
- Bachelors in any discipline (preferably commerce/accountancy)
- Masters/Professional degree in Finance/Accountancy
