F&A/Insurance Operations - IIM

Experience: IIM Graduates, 2-4 yrs experience preferably insurance vertical

Reporting to: CEO - Insurance Verical

Responsibilities:

- Assist in day to day operations of business which involves investments and corporate finance to evaluate and analyze financial situation in order to make sound suggestions to businesses

- Conduct company research and observation of macroeconomic and fundamental and technical analysis data through the study of new products, market prices, and other industry-wide trends

- Monitor and assess real time market data and positions through the study of financial status to see how much the company is earning compared with others in the industry

- Create and execute financial models by comparing financial reports with those of previous years and try to predict what will happen to the earnings in the future investments through trends analysis

- Research - Work with investment software and platforms to gather information (keeping abreast of news stories, market movements, and industry profiles in financial newspapers, magazines, and books), assemble spreadsheets, write reports, and review all non-legal pertinent information about prospective deals to assess risks, protect funds, limit financial losses and recommendations to help manage and spend company funds

Requirements:

- A Masters degree in Accounting or Finance-related major (Business Admin, Business Studies), or an equivalent from a recognized premier institution (ACCA, CIMA, CPA).

- Effective communication skills, Self starter

- Ability to drive various financial initiatives

- Highly Organized, Accurate, and Detail Oriented

- Strong Quantitative and Pattern Recognition Skills to present information Strong Computer Skills

- Able to Perform under Pressure, Flexible
