POSITION DESCRIPTION

Ideal fit for this role would be someone who comes with a strong business understanding of US healthcare, knows how the API ecosystems work, understands marketplaces, can own independent problems, is customer obsessed & customer facing. The Business Development Leader of clinical NLP vertical is responsible for generating leads for ezDI's clinical NLP API products, developing marketing & sales strategy as well as identifying channel partnership opportunities.

Firstly, the role requires great customer facing skills, understanding clinical Natural Language Processing (NLP) APIs products inside out, problem-solving skills, identifying market gaps and generating leads/sales through networking, reaching out to people, innovative thinking, planning business development strategies and executing those.

Secondly, the role requires very deep partnership and stakeholder management with senior leaders of Engineering and Businesses.

Lastly, you should be open to challenges outside the scope of your work and willing to raise your hand when such a situation arises.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- The candidate will lead the ezDI healthcare clinical NLP business development charter within the organization.

- Generate qualified leads through traditional or innovative channels and pass it to sales for closure

- Network with prospects through virtual conferences, forums etc

- Successful Monetization of clinical NLP APIs

- Prioritize the features based on business impact and provide inputs to engineering to deliver the roadmap

- Interact with key stakeholders to identify problems, setting expectation and communication with prospects

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

- Identifying business opportunities for clinical NLP applications is a must

- Building a strong pipeline of leads for clinical NLP is a must

- Proven experience of Channel/Partner development with various public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP and/or IBM)

- Experience of co-marketing and co-selling via various public and private clouds

- Understanding of how to position and deploy clinical NLP APIs is highly preferred

- Understanding of how NLP can bring value to various use cases in the provider, payor and life sciences markets

- Identifying and partnering with large Independent Software Vendor (ISV) and Systems Integrators (SI) is highly preferred

- Overall experience of 4+ yrs in sales, business development and product management, customer engagements in a tech-led company (Healthcare AI space is a highly preferred)

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS PREFERRED

- Have solved complex business problems at scale to create a significant impact on the organization.

- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders.

- Have worked closely with engineering and business to form product roadmap & vision

- Experience defining market and product requirements, working with engineering

organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities to market.

- Must be an innovative, strategic thinker and must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with changing priorities
