Purpose of Position :   Working as a member of Global Internal Audit (GIA), this position will be primarily responsible for function-internal quality reviews of internal audits and to assist in implementing the GIA quality program. This position is designed for an experienced professional who likes to be challenged and wants to grow in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment with modern tools.  Responsibilities and Accountabilities :  The incumbent would be responsible primarily for function-internal quality reviews of internal audits and to assist in implementing the GIA quality program. In addition to quality reviews, the individual may be asked to participate on a limited number of audits to build and/or maintain his/her expertise on audit topics. The individual must be able to work independently and objectively in a diverse global team and demonstrate subject matter expertise on a wide range of audit topics common in service firms similar to EY, e.g., finance/tax, independence compliance, data privacy.  Senior Manager support to GIA quality review includes but is not limited to the following :   - Works independently leveraging internal audit documentation and internal tools to review internal audits for conformance with GIA methodology and professional standards, and overall quality delivery of the audit projects.  - Identifies quality gaps and improvement opportunities in internal audits and audit management and develops training to address learning needs.  - Assures quality through continuous monitoring of portfolio activities, execution of internal audits evaluating procedures (including review of audit documentation and reports), assessing audits on defined performance metrics and reporting results.  - Leads audit teams and/or coaches audit team leaders to make sound judgments in all aspects of internal audit scoping, planning, delivery, report finalization and remediation (management actions)  - Assumes full responsibility and manages performance for assigned audit portfolio and staff.  - Leads or actively participates in special initiatives such as audit methodology updates and developing and delivering training and shares insights / leading practice.  - Operates independently and takes responsibility for a profile of complex audits.  - Coordinates with other audit portfolio leaders to monitor the annual audit plan, optimize coverage of stakeholder relationships and utilize audit resources in an effective way.  - Responsible for meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA)  - Effectively contributes to the on-going development of the GIA function; teaches, coaches, and develops team members in all aspects of audit methodology  - Interacts with GIA leadership to continuously develop and assist in implementing the GIA quality program  - Engages with GIA stakeholders representing a highly professional and competent global internal audit function  - Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 25%)  Education & Experience :   - A Graduation degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent degree.  - Professional Certification in at least one area (CIA, CA, CPA or equivalent)  - 10 or more years of practical experience in public accounting and/or internal audit function of a large international organization (i.e. Big Four accounting firm or other large global organization).  - Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)  - Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English, strong interpersonal and presentation skills interacting with senior stakeholders
