EY - GDS - Consulting - Finance Solution Architect As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will be responsible for Business Development for Finance Transformation team. This includes working along with the clientele to propagate our Finance Offering and also help in creating new offerings and solutions for finance functions. Additionally, this role demands working knowledge around Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries. The opportunity and key responsibilities : We're looking for Senior Manager / Associate Director with expertise in end-to-end Finance solution design with domain expertise in Finance and Accounting processes, to join the global EY - Finance Consulting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading global firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering. - To cooperate with the account/pursuit team to fully analyse and understand the client "context & need" and originated opportunity "scope & goals" - To secure the deliverability of the shaped solution, both in terms of adequacy of team, effort, time, etc as well as commitment from the involved delivery centres - To maximize the Winnability of the solution, fully relying on the best mix of sourcing and supplying units - To drive the solution through the proper QA steps - Connect with pursuit leads in different regions and help them with their requirement in Finance transformation which include all the BC-Finance offerings - Actively reviews and explore opportunities to improve, optimize and enhance ways of working - Provide innovative and customer focused RFP and RFI responses. Provide suitable customer focused solutions which will enable EY win deals along with related Finance GPOs - Provides updates market outreach and key clientele - Practice development (support and participate in activities such as internal training & development, recruitment, etc.) - Help develop our Finance offerings and assets - Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and concisely; ability to prepare presentations for senior-level client stakeholders - Undertaking sales origination, including working with client teams to identify opportunities - Provide valuable views on various frameworks, methodologies and solutions specific to our offerings Additional Requirements : - Experience of business development and delivery - Client facing experience in terms of negotiation and presentation skills - Experience of complex client requirements that you will be able to turn into comprehensible and simplified solution - Experience in developing integrated services solutions, including automation and technology adoption - Demonstrated experience building client solutions that leverage supply options and reuse existing assets and capabilities including alliances. - Problem solving skill, costing, technology-based solution with deals and offerings - Knowledge of Finance and Accounting domain and exposure to other FS sectors (Banking, Insurance, etc.) will be additional benefit - Experience in GBS set-up activities such as activity analysis, cost baselining, location assessment, Business case creation, Target Model design, Operating Model Design etc. - Working knowledge of GBS / SSC setup engagements.
