Position Summary :

- As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your knowledge and experience to lead projects for large global clients with team of staffs, seniors and managers delivering exceptional client service on assurance engagements across various regions within Americas or EMEIA - Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. 


- The role will cover business development; client relationship management; risk management; project and stakeholder relationship management; and performance management of your team.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Manage and develop people

- Be an effective people manager by empowering, monitoring, coaching and motivating the team members.

- Develop team members by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.

- Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training.

- Provide guidance and expertise to professional staff and participate in the conduct of a wide range of assurance services, with a particular focus on complex and specialized issues, controls reviews, and assistance with regulatory compliance.

- Work closely with EY GDS Partners/Executive Directors on the growth agenda and related projects

- Gain an understanding of EY GDS offerings across Service lines and Sub-service lines in order to promulgate a one EY GDS approach to stakeholders

- Influence EY executives to transition new engagements and services to EY GDS Assurance.

- Develop and maintain strong relationship network with global clients and key contacts in the primary engagement teams

Primary Responsibilities :

- Actively support the EY GDS Assurance's innovation agenda (e.g. improvement of service delivery, standardization of projects, new solutions, etc.)

- Monitor KPIs (e.g. growth, quality feedback, utilization, risk management compliance, people matters) for your team and take appropriate action required

- Manage quality of service delivery

- Develop technical expertise - both functional and industry and encourage Managers to do the same for themselves and their team.

- Gain an in-depth understanding of EY's suite of digital assurance tools (cloud technology, data analytics and (RPA) and enable adoption by your team

- Assist in co-facilitating technical training

- Monitor and help resolve any quality issues on a real-time basis. Support exceptional service delivery action programs.

- Qualified Indian Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or ACCA with a minimum of 10 years of assurance experience

- Excellent knowledge of International GAAP and GAAS (e.g. US GAAP/ IFRS).

- Experience of reviewing clients with large shared service centres; or candidate working in financial role with a large MNC shared service centre preferred

- Effective facilitation and presentation skills.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent project and people management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
