EY - Senior Associate - Regulatory - Power Sector Advisory

Profile requirements - 5+ years of experience in power sector advisory in regulatory aspect including policy advisory, tariff filing, capital expenditure planning, and power procurement costing across the sector value chain covering generation, transmission and distribution. 

- High proficiency in financial and tariff modelling along with excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential. 

- Clear demonstration of independent project and client management in current/previous experience. Openness to expand into related aspects in emerging areas such as renewable, e-mobility, storage, energy efficiency etc.

Role - Leading project delivery and execution for policy & regulatory work for both government and private clients, leading large/complex business proposals, develop business pitches for new ideas and clients, client relationship management and team management.

Key areas of work:

- Policy formulation across a wide range of sector topics

- Preparation of annual/multi-year business plans across generation, transmission and distribution

- Multi-year/annual Tariff modelling including capital expenditure plans and power procurement cost

- Business development support through proposal and pitch preparations

- Financial modelling to undertake cost-benefit analysis of investments

- Renewable sector feasibility studies, techno commercial appraisals and transaction advisory

- Independent client management/project delivery
