Consultant - Risk Advisory Services - Regulatory Business Support

The opportunity :

EY is to seeking professional's with 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance.

Your key responsibilities:

- Client Management Group is accountable for the end-to-end client onboarding through maintaining relationships, to exit.


- Aligned to Banking Coverage teams we work closely with product teams and other onboarding functions to deliver the end-to-end service required. Regulatory Business Support (RBS Team) part of CMG plays a vital role in facilitating the client on boarding journey from a regulatory requirement aspect and acts as control function to ensure clients adhere to required regulations before they are eligible to trade.

- Managing requests assigned in a timely and accurate manner, contributing towards positive client experience of the end to end regulatory process

- Taking ownership of regulatory related issues Eg: MIFID II, EMIR, DFA, Canada Trade Reporting, 871(m), FATCA & CRS and liaising with the wider regulatory function for resolution.

- Maintenance of appropriate records, databases/systems.

- Providing solutions to the queries raised and address problems if any.

- Working closely with all GBM Onboarding and Non GBM functions to ensure bottlenecks are resolved in an efficient and timely manner.

- Identifies and highlights/escalate potential risks arising within process or from planned change to management in a timely manner

- Adhering to all performance level agreements at all times

- Prepare & maintain metrics for submission to stakeholders.

- Take ownership of requests assigned and complete them in accordance local policy/procedures and guidelines.

- Working closely with management in providing support and coverage as appropriate

- Recognizes and overcomes the challenges of working in different time zones.

- Proactively takes action on escalated issues and problems until resolution.

- Understand the importance of connecting with others to achieve their own and their team's goals

To qualify for the role you must have:

- Flexible for EMEIA Shifts.

- Knowledge in various regulations such as MIFID II, EMIR, DFA, Canada Trade Reporting, 871(m), FATCA & CRS (E)

- Experience of working in Data remediation project roles (E)

Ideally you'll also have:

- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills

- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative

- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)

- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility
