Experience in Public Finance Management.
The list of activities is mentioned below (non-exhaustive):
- Analyse revenue streams, expenditures, and economic trends to create realistic budget projections
- Provide recommendations for taxation, government spending, and debt management
- Implement strategies to enhance revenue collection efficiency and compliance
- Ensure compliance with accounting and financial reporting standards
- Identify areas for improvement in the public financial management system and propose reforms.
- Implement reforms to enhance financial management efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop strategies to maintain sustainable debt levels and mitigate risks
- Conduct economic and financial analysis to support policy decisions
- Experience of working with the Central/State/Local Government and experience of working in PMU will be added advantage
- Experience of working with UN agency, World Bank, ADB or any other IFI is desirable
- Flexibility to work back in teams with diverse background
- Must be good in report writing and presentation skills
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- MBA (Finance)/Master's degree in Economics/Chartered Accountant (preferred)
