EY - Policy Expert

Full time MBA having minimum 7 years Post qualification experience of which minimum 3 years should be with Department of Industries of State/Central Government/UT.

Job Description:

- Drafting of necessary policies, Acts, guidelines etc. as mandated by the department

- Responsible for providing inputs vis-a-vis coherence in policy framework within different bodies of the department

- Preparation of demand note in sync with the proprieties of policies / programme /scheme on budgetary allocation to the department

- Providing assistance to the department for review of institutional bodies working under the department by preparation of knowledge collaterals which can help gauge different parameters e.g., achieved task against assigned task, setting up the priorities and objectives, innovative practices etc.

- Assessment of Business environment, core infrastructure facilities, Transport connectivity and access to finance. Benchmarking and Preparing recommendation report based on the assessment.

- Support in the other activities of central ministries e.g. EPI ranking, Support in setting up of District Export Hubs and One District One Product Clusters, Support in planning for establishing Integrated Manufacturing Cluster (IMC) on any new or existing industrial corridors.
