Job Title: Murex Developer or Business Analyst/Market Risk into Murex:

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Murex Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with Murex system in Front office and risk modules of the Mx 3.1 platform. As a Murex Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and implementing enhancements within the Murex system. You will work closely with Front Office business teams, collaborate on cross-functional projects, and provide technical expertise for pricing, distribution, and execution capabilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting requirement analysis, analyzing production data, and offering solutions to facilitate rollouts.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize your deep knowledge of Murex Front office and risk modules, including Financial and DataMart databases and MxML development, to analyze requirements and design solutions.

- Collaborate closely with Front Office business teams to understand their needs and provide technical support for pricing and booking capabilities within the Murex system.

- Participate in cross-functional projects, working with internal business partners, to deliver Straight-Through Processing (STP) solutions for pricing, distribution, and execution capabilities.

- Conduct detailed requirement analysis in the Front Office space for various asset classes, ensuring that business needs are understood and translated into technical solutions.

- Perform initial analysis of existing production data and test case suites, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing system performance.

- Analyze and understand product requirements, offering solutions and support to facilitate successful rollouts and enhancements.

- Employ a strong analytical and logical approach to problem-solving and system development, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.

- Validate the pros and cons of technical solution options by understanding the business needs and identifying appropriate solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Murex system to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with Murex system in Front office and risk modules of the Mx 3.1 platform.

- In-depth knowledge of Murex Front office and risk modules, including Financial and DataMart databases and MxML development.

- Proven experience in developing scalable, resilient transaction processing systems in the Financial markets.

- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Extensive exposure to FX, IRD, and EQD products, including a solid understanding of their trade lifecycle across front office, back office, and middle office tiers.

- Ability to analyze and understand complex product requirements and offer effective solutions and support.
