EY - Manager - Strategy - IIM/XLRI/FMS/MDI

1. Skill sets and responsibilities

- The candidate would be expected to have at least 8 - 9 years of experience in the following functional areas with in their respective vertical

- Engagement delivery, account management, business development, thought leadership

- Benchmarking, cost baselining, opportunity analysis, market and comparative analysis

- Target operating model design, business process improvement, data & process standardization and development of future state business models

- Financial modelling & analysis (Zero Based Budgeting),operational performance improvement including labour and productivity assessments, supply chain management, process mapping and design, project management, technology effectiveness assessments, scenario analysis and go to market strategy

- Primary research, statistical modelling, segmentation, customer journey mapping

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Ability to create accurate spreadsheets in Excel, Access and presentations in PowerPoint)

- Strong structured problem solving and analysis skills, particularly in market, operational and financial areas

- Should have excellent presentation and executive presence along with stakeholder management and communication skills including a proven ability to team with diverse cultures and be comfortable with ambiguity

- Ideal candidate should have knowledge of one of the verticals (BFSI, CPG, Retail, HCLS, Diversified Industrial products, TMT, Energy or Oil & Gas) with demonstrable experience dealing with government & public sector, commercial clients either within India or in the US /UK / Canada

- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (on-shore / off -shore), with minimal supervision and manage teams

2. Education and experience

- Bachelor's degree in engineering with an MBA or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma) from a top tier B-School

- At least 8 - 9 years of client facing consulting experience in at least one of the verticals (BFSI, CPG, Retail, HCLS, Diversified Industrial products, TMT, Energy or Oil & Gas) or equivalent experience in a corporate strategy role within a leading corporation

- Knowledge of SAS/SQL/R/MATLAB/ Tableau would be an added advantage

- Certifications (e.g., CPIM, IAOP, CSCP, PMP) would be an added advantage

- Experience working within the US / Canada / UK regions is an added advantage but not mandatory
