Key responsibilities:

- Lead the design and implementation of TPRM operating models, identifying, evaluating, and providing solutions to evaluate complex business and technology risks.

- Follow policies and procedures that support the successful implementation of TPRM operating models.

- Facilitate process walkthrough discussions to document end-to-end business processes and functional requirements.

- Assess the application of legal and regulatory requirements to clients TPRM practices.

- Lead/ Participate in technology enhancement requirements such as Automation, Data Analytics, AI to support TPRM processes.

- Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offering or industry projects.

- Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, EY products, and service lines.

- Perform risk assessment/ Screen vendors (individuals and entities) against the following checks:

- Global Sanction lists issued by OFAC, EU and other international and government agencies

- Anti-Bribery and Corruption

- ESG

- Reputational

- Legal

- Politically Exposed Person (PEP) (certain people who hold influential positions which can make them more prone to bribery and corruption)

- Prepare a report summarising assessment outcomes, risk level and associated recommendations

- Due diligence - To be completed with the help of certain databases and risk tools .

- Periodically reach out to vendors hosting data regarding current threats to ensure they are taking necessary steps to reduce exposure

- Help in managing Stakeholders Requirements - Audit, Compliance, legal, BCM, ISG, AP. Conduct UAT testing during System implementation

Skills and abilities:

- Possess knowledge of end-to-end TPRM technology and process support that meets the needs of operations, risk profile and regulatory expectations of the client

- Understanding of the TPRM implementation process - Organize, structure, and build a formal, technology-enabled program to streamline the management of customer audit and risk assessment requests, based on a library of standardized, approved responses

- Ability to evaluate the services provided by vendors, timely review vendor performances and risks associated, and develop appropriate responses

- Demonstrate excellent relationship management and conflict management capabilities in order to guide the client/vendor relationship through such experiences

- Very strong work ethic and ability to deal with confidential information

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and experience to work in a multicultural environment

Minimum Education and Experience

- Educational Qualification - Graduate/ Post-Graduate/ LLB / CFA / MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA

- Relevant experience of 6-8 years for Senior and 9-10 years or more for Manager

- Good hands-on experience in Third Party Risk Management across various industry verticals

- Hands on experience of having defined risk pillars and relevant assessments for various third parties such as vendors, distributors, Joint ventures, Individual business associates

- Excellent communication and executive presence to connect at senior level and ability to influence those stakeholders

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

- Proficiency in Data Science and experience in tools like Power BI, alteryx will be an added advantage (not a deciding factor)

Ideally, you'll also have

- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills

- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative

- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)

- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility
