- Develop extensive CXO level and senior management relationships in client organizations which leads to being viewed as a "Trusted Analytics Advisor."
- Drive growth in analytics line of business in EY and bring in new clients, lead from the front in client conversations
- Lead teams responsible for shaping and delivering the analytics and insight needed to drive various solutions and programs across multiple clients & projects;
- Skilled in managing senior client relationships and navigating a cross-functional audience in the client team
- Business Development: Help grow the Analytics Business (the candidate will have sales targets for both sales support and independent sales)
- Create analytics product offerings for Banking/NBFC clients in India
- Responsible to work closely with the Analytics Leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for the organization and collaborate with internal teams
- Responsible for strengthening EY's brand in the space of Analytics
- Lead and manage teams (30+ consulting talent) with a strong focus on Employee Engagement, Mentoring, Training and Retention; experienced in responding to RFPs/RFIs;
Skills and attributes for success
Business:
- Analytics expertise with extensive exposure to Consumer Banking (Cards, PL, Liabilities, Wealth Management, Banca)/ Insurance (GI/LI), Payments
- Experience in consulting ways of working in a client facings role (clients can be external if working in a consulting organistaion, can be internal departments likes of product/sales/operations/finance as it will be for Banks/Insurance organisations)
Tools and techniques (from early years of experience in career):
- From his/her early years of his career: Proficiency in SAS, Python, Statistical modeling (Logistic / Linear regression, GLM modeling, Time-series forecasting, Scorecard development, Clustering, Segmentation etc.) and ML techniques
- Good to have understandings: R, Hadoop, Machine Learning, Neural Networks
Soft skills :
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven client management experience
- Proven team leadership experience
- Exposure to Business Development, Sales Support
Functional area/ industry, not mandatory
- Consulting Experience in Indian Market from organisations likes of Accenture, Fractal, IBM, PwC, EXL; Or
- Preferably from Banking in Indian market : Private Sector banks likes of Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, IDFC Bank, ICICI Bank; And MNC Banks Indian market operations likes of Citibank, StandardChartered, HSBC
To qualify for the role you must have
- BTech & MBA / BTech / MBA from top tier engineering (IIT, NIT, DTU/NSIT/PEC) /B-Schools (IIMs/SPJain/JBIMS) or Masters in Statistics / Economics (ISI/DSE/MBE/CU) from the top universities
- Minimum 14+ years of relevant work experience
Ideally you'll also have
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
