Job Summary:

The Knowledge Manager will serve as an internal knowledge management professional who will work as part of the Global Telecoms and TMT Knowledge team to support the effective implementation of the sector and cluster knowledge priorities. This Knowledge Manager will work with the APAC and EMEIA account teams as well as the global telecoms and TMT knowledge team to deliver knowledge projects, and will develop and maintain appropriate relationships with stakeholders. Working on building the RPA Hub will also be part of the role where the KM will need to work closely with the RPA Solution Champions, build internal networks and harvest relevant content.

The incumbent to the role will be primarily responsible for ensuring our work deliverables and output is of highest standard; particularly graphically and visually stimulating and polished. While being involved in a range of high profile knowledge projects, the role will support community, pursuit, and research depiction related activities, including but not restricted to the management of the Discover Suite of tools, facilitating information sharing leveraging the various channels and collective insights of the community, engaging in curation and bundling of high value knowledge elements. The incumbent will work closely with the other Telecoms and TMT Knowledge Managers and contribute to the team's existing projects.

Purpose of the Job:

- Lead / support global Telecoms knowledge projects/initiatives and ensure adoption/implementation globally

- Lead a wide range of knowledge projects in the APAC and EMEIA regions

- Focus primarily on compelling visualizations and modern design of our work products / deliverables to the business

- Contribute to the insight collection and dissemination activities by compiling good practices and EY Telecoms IP through well written stories and structured interviews

- Respond to content requests by responding to queries and by assisting pursuit /engagement teams access the right content at the right time

Utilize knowledge bases, networks, communities of practice and other sources to synthesize responses to queries

- Manage knowledge harvesting / curation programs with support from the Content Advisor

- Work with the EY Knowledge team on analytics for the Discover Suite of Tools. Conduct gap assessment against priorities and work with the other members to develop a mitigation strategy

- Support knowledge training activities for Telecoms/TMT community around usage of tools, processes and practices

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

- Be agile and prioritize competing challenges, manage multiple projects and stakeholders with varying perspectives simultaneously

- Adapt to constantly changing work requirements while assimilating new information, analyzing it and effectively applying it

- Take initiative and be proactive in a fast-paced and highly challenging environment

- Quickly define and solve problems; escalate issues as appropriate to achieve success

- Be adept at managing conflict toward resolution

- Willing to challenge status quo using diplomacy as required

- Be accountable for collaborating with and influencing key stakeholders and achieving results across countries, functional groups, and time zones, and with diverse teams and working styles

- Work with the Telecoms Knowledge leader to establish plans and timelines, set priorities, and define metrics to measure progress and degrees of success

- Ability to collect, analyze, and present data in both detailed and executive formats to communicate program progress and facilitate decision making

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

- Ability to depict complex issues in graphics, excellent visualization and design skills

- Advanced skills with MS Office tools, primarily Excel, PowerPoint, Word; and MS SharePoint

- Working knowledge of Data Visualization tools like Tableau and Spotfire

- Experience with online research databases and websites, business information tools and corporate intranets

- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communications skills

- Fluency in English, both spoken and written required

- Strong networking and relationship-building skills

- Willingness to learn new technologies and be innovative in applying to knowledge solution

Education:

- Masters degree (preferably) or Bachelor's degree

Experience:

- Working in a knowledge management role for professional services / management consulting firms

- Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams

- Experience of successfully managing and implementing complex projects

- Ability to present knowledge principles, theories and topics in a clear, comprehensive and compelling manner within a business context using business language
