EY - IT Infrastructure Role - Operational Transaction Services Team

EY India is looking for IT Infrastructure Architect in the TAS - OTS team.

About OTS Team:

Our Operational Transaction Services (OTS) Team is a part of our expanded, integrated market-leading Transaction Advisory Services Team in India. This dedicated team supports clients in managing capital and transactions both strategically and operationally.

Our focus pre-transaction and post-transaction is in the following areas:

- Integration

- Carve-out and separation

- Synergy assessment

- Operational due diligence

Designation: It will be decided basis for your experience and performance during the interview.

Your key responsibilities

- Leading the technical input into sales documentation such as tenders, RFPs, etc. - creating high level designs, bill of materials and resource estimates as well as the solution definition

- Coaching and mentoring style of approach when working with team members

To qualify for the role you must have

- B. Tech / BE / Higher Education with 6-12 years of experience.

- Candidate should have Big-4 / Boutique / ITeS consulting experience

- Transactions/Deals experience (such as IT Due Diligence / Integration / Carve-out)

- Strong PMO experience (of either system implementation or transaction IMO)

- Strong IT Advisory experience (such as IT Strategy development, systems/vendor selection, cost reduction etc.)

- Any ERP (SAP, Oracle) implementation/project management experience (Note: We are not looking for experts in ERP but just 1-2 projects implementation experience will be preferred)

Skills and attributes for success

- In-depth technical knowledge of the following technologies: Enterprise-Class Server technologies (HP/IBM/Lenovo/Dell), Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), Storage Area Networks (EMC/IBM/NetApp), networking and load balancing technologies (Cisco, F5, Riverbed), IPAM & DNS, Active Directory, SQL Server

- Managed service and cloud-based service exposure (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365)

- Demonstrate understanding and pragmatic usage of architectural frameworks.

- Experience of designing cloud/network solutions and implementation.

- Experience with security solutions such as DDoS, IPS, PCI compliance

- Strong understanding of Backup and Recovery, DC, DR, Near DR and Business Continuity.

- Very good knowledge of Cyber Security tools and environments

- Very sound knowledge in Servers, Virtualization, Cloud services (Azure): IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, SDN, network transformation, LAN/WAN/MPLS, DNS/DHCP, data centers, unified comms, telephony, Integration

- Knowledge of Enterprise and Solution Architecture/TOGAF, and ITIL beneficial

- Cisco Networking (CCDA/CCNP Level Certifications)

- Experience working in a PCI:DSS Compliant environment.

- A strong customer focus with strong communication (verbal/written) and influencing skills

- Sound business acumen with the ability to map business requirements to technical solutions and a thorough understanding of architectural design principles.

- Previous experience working in a service provider/consultancy capacity, defining customer's requirements and creating solutions to meet their needs

- A hands-on, technically experienced team member.

- Comfortable designing, integrating and verifying networks
