Transformation Manager - TMO, GDS Operations

Transformation Management Office (TMO) is the EPMO team within Global GDS Operations Transformation function. This is a team of seasoned Program/Change management professionals operating with a global mindset and executing strategic programs across the breadth and depth of GDS & GDS Operations leveraging skills & experience in Ideation, Strategy development, Project Management, Change Management, Benefits management, Technology implementation, Process Improvement and Organization Design.

The opportunity

As part of the TMO team, your main objective will be to drive strategic programs & outcomes working closely with leaders (sponsors) across different functions / geographies in designing, leading and implementing business imperatives of varying size and complexity; by collaborating with our teams across GDS locations in enabling business goals and playing different/multiple roles of PMO, Program/Project Manager, Change Manager, Benefits Manager, etc. with a consulting and trusted business advisor mindset.

Your key responsibilities

- Create value for the organization by leading complex programs/projects independently as Program/Project/Change manager driving EY GDS- internal transformation efforts / strategic initiatives (cost optimization, driving OKRs, location strategy, growth strategy, etc.)

- Own the program design & delivery including focus on change management, right from building the case to delivering the outcomes, enabling achievement of strategic goals of the organization.

- Developing and enhancing relationships with our key stakeholders, understand the business and navigate within the organization to drive programs effectively.

- Observing, listening and asking better questions to understand their needs and expectations.

- Bringing diverse and thought-provoking perspectives and point of view to explore solutions working with the team

- Exploring trends and new, innovative ideas that will positively impact EY, in addition to the existing practices/processes followed within EY

- Perform rapid assessment of current projects within the portfolio and develop/execute change management strategy, accelerating the outcomes and managing change effectively.

- Being prepared to speak credibly and confidently about process & technology and ability to identify opportunities to solve business issues.

- Contribute towards building the capability for the function to efficiently & effectively manage the programs and coach colleagues who are managing programs/projects to effectively embed change management

- Ensure standardization in project/change management practices adopted and align them to organization goals.

- Ability to identify and measure benefits and define KPIs relevant for the functions.

- Host SteerCo and drive discussions/decisions working with the project leader/sponsor

- Develop and manage knowledge repository for use across internal projects and EY communities.

Skills and attributes for success

- Understanding of standard project methodologies and change interventions during various phases - project design & initiation, current state analysis, future state design, process design, implementation and project transition/close.

- Good understanding of IT, HR, Finance functional processes and transformations in general.

- Strong MS Office skills including MS project, MS Teams and PowerBI

- Excellent skills with power point and storytelling approach.

- Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people and different cultures.

- Good analytical, judgment, tact and decision-making ability along with critical thinking skills.

- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to deliver work products of the highest quality and overcome risks and issues to ensure timely delivery.

- Strong facilitation skills with senior stakeholders in driving decisions and consensus.

- Ability to travel and conduct multi time zone meetings outside of local business hours, when needed.

To qualify for the role, you must have :

- 12+ Years of relevant consulting/execution experience with at least 6+ Years of independently leading transformation programs with specific focus on change management in projects of varying scale

- Management of senior stakeholder relationships at CXO, Partner or Functional Head level.

- Experience in one of the domains - Corporate strategy, Finance or Technology and general understanding of these functions.

- Awareness / experience of leveraging technology as enablers.

- Certification in Project Management - PRINCE II, PMP, Agile and/OR Change Management (Prosci, APMG Change practitioner, Culture change)

- Post Graduate in management and Graduate in any domain related to management, economics or technology

- Ability to guide, lead and coach client leadership / project teams across the lifecycle of complex programs and strategic initiatives.
