EY - Finance Expert - Government Advisory

EY- India is hiring a Finance Expert to join our team for one of our Govt Advisory Projects. The role requires working with Government clients to provide financial advice in Infrastructure related projects for the state government.

To qualify for the role, you must have :

- CA, MBA (Finance) or Post-graduation (Finance)

- Minimum 5+ years' experience working in financial advisory/ financial analyses/ infra or project finance

- Experience of working on DPR preparation, financial modelling, and related areas

- Past experience of working on government subsidies, claim processing and application appraisals will be preferable

- The candidate must have worked for direct client-facing jobs under direct client supervision (Working with government clients preferable)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- To work as a management consultant forming a part of the team engaged with a key Central Ministry

- Prepare financial projections considering projected revenue, budgetary allocation, operational expenses, interest expense (if any), and other relevant factors

- Prepare financial viability reports and DPRs for government subsidies and application appraisal projects

- Collaborate with concerned Ministries and States for working on State-specific policies

- Provide Commercial and Business advisory inputs to the client

Skill Set :

The candidate should have the skill set(s), but not limited to:

- Candidate must have excellent computer proficiency (MS Office and other related software)

- Hands-on experience in financial advisory/ financial analyses/ infra or project finance

- Strong financial modelling skills

- Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative, team player

- Ability to create and deliver pitch presentation to the client and/ or on behalf of the client to specific external investor group(s)

- Undertaking meetings with the client and its related departments and creation of meeting notes

- Creation of feasibility reports/ DPRs and or specific project related reports for the client
