The opportunity :

- Counterparty Credit Risk Reporting - Business Consulting Risk - FSRM - Bangalore

- Our FSRM team is a fast-moving, high-growth area with huge potential. It offers variety, challenge, responsibility, and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential.

- Our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice focuses on risk management, regulatory, quantitative, and technology backgrounds. The breadth of experiences of FSRM professionals enables the practice to coordinate the delivery of a broad array of risk management services to capital market participants throughout the world in a well-integrated manner.

Your key responsibilities :

Knowledge, skills & experience :

- CA / MBA in Finance or Masters in similar and relevant field

- At least 5 years of work experience in a Big4 / Financial services firm in area of internal audit, assurance or traded risk management

- Good working knowledge of counterparty credit risk reporting requirements and regulations, across standardised and internal model approaches

- Good understanding of various counterparty credit risk reporting metrics (e.g. EAD, PFE, EE, EPE, EEPE) and the calculation of them

- Practical experience of counterparty credit risk management &/or control within a financial institution

- Ability to provide independent and effective review and challenge of key counterparty credit risk processes including regulatory reporting

- Good understanding of assurance techniques obtained in a big 4 accounting firm or internal audit department of a financial institution

- Ability to challenge stakeholders at various level and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders

- Strong writing skills and ability to take complex requirements and document them in an easy-to-read manner

- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills

- A good understanding of Traded Credit Risk and associated processes

- Ability to make connections between multiple risk and issues

- Proven track record of successful involvement with change management programs

- Excellent communication skills with experience in interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization

- Creative approach to problem solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view

- Ability to navigate in complex matrix environment with focus and execution

To qualify for the role, you must have :

- 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience

- CA / MBA in Finance or Masters's in a similar and relevant field

- Knowledge of programming (SQL, Excel VBA, Python, etc.)
