The Corporate Finance Hub team will be responsible for managing the corporate finance encompassing Accounts Payable, Billings, AR Reporting, Collections, Cash Applications, Accounting and Audit, Statutory reporting and consolidation, Cash Forecasting, etc. The candidate should monitor day to day operations related to GDS Finance, possess complete knowledge of managing core finance function, act as an account manager &amp; a consultant to the GDS Finance Leaders. Your client responsibilities: - Responsible for meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA) on Turn Around Time (TAT) &amp; Accuracy - Review and delivery of high level reports to GDS Leadership on a regular/ ad-hoc basis - Should be able to individually work on and present key reports/ analysis to senior Finance Leadership - Effectively manage escalations - Develop back up plan and focus on cross training the team - Own &amp; review of GDS books of accounts - Act as a finance consultant to GDS Finance controllers/ clients to maintain the accounts - Manage all assigned functions in tandem - Ensure delivery of monthly reporting packs to key stake holders - Manage expectation, variance analysis and explanation to clients - Manage, develop and implement the aspects of quality compliance and accuracy attributes - Review the existing quality processes and procedures and provide suggestions for improvement in business processes for efficient functioning - Work on internal projects and drive the team to deliver goods on those projects - Manage the department and ensure that the team consistently delivers quality results - Confer with clients to discuss and resolve matters such as complaints and implementation problems - Interact with customers and clients to understand requirements, set expectations, address concerns, and discuss them with senior leadership - Plan, organize and direct transition activities - Manage and ensure effective transition of process by scheduling project inputs, assigning resources and responsibilities Your people responsibilities: As a People Manager you will: - Plan timely training for respective departments to maintain and improve skills of team members - Work with Managers to understand the team's concerns and resolve them - Delegate tasks appropriately and develop the team members to move to next level - Work under pressure, managing absenteeism, attrition and people issues Technical skills requirements: - Qualified CA/ ICWA with 12 to 15 years of experience in finance, 5 to 10 years of team leading experience - Relevant experience in leading a core finance team - Strong accounting Knowledge - Indian tax laws &amp; statutory requirements (will be an added advantage)
