Job Responsibilities :
- Manage AP Function including Stakeholder relationship management- Ensure the AP policies and procedures are articulated, circulated and adhered by positively influencing the stakeholders
- Develops, implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Manages monthly closing of AP module including Provision and accrual information to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliances relating to AP Transactions - Withholding Taxes, GST, FEMA, ESI/PF and other labour law related compliances.
- Manage, Lead and Motivate the team to ensure agreed Turnaround times are met for AP processing
- Ensure to set up a process for Reconciliation & Confirmations from Vendors at periodical intervals
- Manage the Inter-company transactions effectively, educate the requirements for overseas suppliers
- Work with tax team optimise the tax incentive / benefits applicable to the company
- Work with treasury on cash management and fund-forecasting
- Lead & Liaise various Audits pertaining to AP ( Statutory, Tax, Internal, IFRS- etc.,)
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of improvements as appropriate, to simplify, standardize and streamline existing processes related to accounts payable
