Tech in Electronics & Telecommunications, computer engineering or Information Technology. MBA in relevant specialization preferred.  Desired experience :  1. Minimum 6 years of experience in implementing automated fare collection systems - preferably EMV based fare collection systems for transit operators.   2. The experience of working with government organizations would be preferred.  3. The experience of implementing EMV based fare collection system would be preferred.   4. Prior consulting experience in the domain of automated fare collection system would be added advantage.   Responsibilities - The AFC expert would be responsible for co-ordinating between a team of vendors and client to manage and successfully implement the EMV based open loop AFC Implementation project for one or more AFC implementation engagements. The details of roles and responsibilities are as follows  1. Providing project management support to client for implementing multi-modal EMV based AFC Implementation project.   2. The candidate may also be involved in consulting assignment to develop strategy, solution architecture, business modeling etc. for the implementation of open loop based fare collection system.   3. Manage internal as well as external stakeholder communications during the execution of the project.   4. Prepare project plan, resource allocation and Coordinate with cross functional teams such as vendor teams, client teams for smooth execution of the project.   5. Identify risks and provide periodic status updates to client management.   6. Inspection and testing of AFC equipment provided by the vendor.   7. Review of project artifacts and deliverables such as station drawings, design documents, implementation plans etc.  8. Review of testing deliverables such as test cases, test plans, and results. Assist client in acceptance testing.
