Job Description :

Leadership / Management Skills :

a. Ensures optimal utilization of staff time and balances workload among team members on fair basis

b. Manages the preparation of the engagement plan and ensures appropriate resources are assigned.

c. Sets performance standards and objectives for the engagement.

d. With assistance of Director / Principal, summarizes the key areas of the engagement for the Partner.

e. Adheres to the Office code of conduct, office protocol, dress code and other HR policies

f. Balances the requirements of clients, staff and the Member Firm.

g. Identifies and proposes solutions to resource problems

h. Identifies and researches suitable targets and develops targeting plan.

i. Optimizes profitability on each client through engagement efficiencies and value pricing.

j. Contributes to wider management of office.

k. Ability to take responsibility with highest level of integrity.

Client Relationships :

a. Anticipates the need of the client and acts proactively

b. Responsive with constant communication to build a rapport

c. Communicates audit matters to the client as appropriate

d. Obtains client feedback on engagement performance and takes appropriate action and ensures Clients are fully satisfied.

e. Understands client needs across all Member Firm service lines and coordinates an appropriate response

f. Resolves client dissatisfaction and complaints promptly and effectively.

g. Develops a sustainable portfolio of clients and grows fee income.

h. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the client, the business and the risks and applies these in consulting documents.

i. Acts as a trusted advisor to the clients to develop a long term professional relation

j. Identifies client's business needs and introduces a wide range of the Member Firm's services to the client to address those needs.

Technical Capabilities :

a. Performs technical reviews of audit work.

b. Understands all relevant regulations and standards and their impact on the audit.

c. Drafts management letters whenever applicable in conjunction with Partner that provide practical and commercial business advice.

d. Involves specialists in the engagement, where appropriate

e. Identifies potential technical issues and discusses with technical department, where appropriate, before documenting issue and proposed solution for Partner's attention.

f. Keeps abreast of the new developments in the relevant field through reading / research / attending webinars / professional certifications

g. Participates in Events/Conferences

h. Publishes Articles in Technical publications

i. Understands all relevant independence rules and their applicability to the assurance team and the Member Firm.

j. Consults with the engagement leader and Member Firm Partner responsible for independence regarding independence issues.

k. Together with Partner negotiates fees and demonstrates commercial responsibility for profitability of each client.

l. Exercises control over assignments to ensure work is of the highest quality
