Expert Shelf Management (Expert in Plano-gram,Space planning)-Mumbai
- The Role will be responsible to partner with the Sales and Category Management teams across all the Regions of CFSD, and/or other International CATMAN teams.
- Team member who develops customized best-in-class plan-o-grams & Related analysis for key customers in Canada and/or Other International locations.
- He/she acts as a Subject Matter Expert & validate/supervise planograms developed by peers.
- The longer-term vision for this team is ultimately to support a wide variety Category Management Solutions.
- The candidate would be part of the Category Management team delivering unbiased, actionable thought and category leadership to key customers.
a) Support the development of best-in-class, customized shelving/assortment plans, Create and deliver Best-in-class Planograms
- Create/Modify planograms taking in to account -specific requirements and best practice planogramming principles for various Retailers across US, Canada and Other International Locations
- Pull, format, and interpret customer movement data using various data sources to make fact-based adjustments to Planograms as appropriate.
- Ensure productive, timely, accurate and turn-key planograms that incorporate high-quality decision making
- Make Fact-Based recommendations for Planogram/Assortment Changes
- Effectively leverage s/w capabilities, automation techniques and peer review to create efficient deliverables
b) Reporting & Analytics
- Create efficient, productive and timely deliverables within customer-specific R&A related areas
- Provide analysis/reporting on impact driven by changes to the planogram
- Confidently presents category and consumer information and looks for ways to integrate into better Shelving solutions
c) Shelf & Category Management
- Be updated & share product knowledge for various categories where GMI provides POG support to different retailers - best practices and new developments within the category
- Learn the nuances about various retailers and the retailer best practices
- Responsible for identifying and implementing a plan to resolve all discrepancies that arise in any project
- Ensure smooth communication with SMEs for rationale/changes etc. when needed
- Develop & share understanding on Category Management areas through internal and external presentations
d) Build additional capabilities
- Train new hires within team and/or GBS on product/category and/or software knowledge as needed
- Implement Continuous Improvement learning and automation techniques within work related areas
