What you'll do: - Working in multi discipline squads to deliver impact analysis insights and solutions - Challenge business owners to think differently about how they digest and use information to make informed decisions - Build your expertise of business knowledge. You will actively look for revenue opportunities and build business cases for our business teams to act on - Keep up to date on developments in the industry to help drive Hotwire.com's innovation - Conduct analytic deep-dives of critical business issues, crafting a data-centric view of customer behavior to diagnose drivers for business impact and translate the analyses into actionable recommendations - Lead end to end cross functional project, influencing decision makers and stakeholders - Lead analytics on various products to help drive actionable insights - Use data and insight to co-develop product roadmaps with product managers Who you are: - 7 years minimum in a similar Analytics position - Strong analytical mindset and skills, specifically demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills - Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce excellent technical documentation - Strong organizational skills and attention for detail - Basic knowledge of Regular Expression logic & syntax, or willingness to learn - Candidates must have that curious streak - want to investigate that data point, find that insight, understand how that works and find the route cause behind abnormal patterns in our data - Bachelor's in Business/Economics, mathematics, engineering or other quantitative disciplines - Masters / MBA preferred - Strong stakeholder management skill set - Should be familiar with writing advanced SQL code and basic ETL. - Familiarity with Excel, Tableau, Looker, or similar reporting tool - Familiarity with statistical tests such as AB Testing/Predictive Modelling - Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to handle multiple projects/responsibilities. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Micro-strategy - Superior analytic problem solver, with a focus on delivering actionable recommendations - Strong business knowledge and demonstrated ability to probe, drill and analyze elusive problems with minimal supervision Why join us: Expedia Group recognises our success is dependent on the success of our people.
