EMB has already raised capital from a few top global VCs and has closed its series A recently. EMB has grown 10X in revenue over the past 6 months post funding from Chiratae and Tanglin Venture Partners and plans a 30X growth over the next 12-18 months. EMB is looking forward to building a world class product for buyers and vendors and thus hiring for product and engineering leadership.

Job Description :

- We are searching for an enthusiastic event manager with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organization in hosting events that enhance our organization's image, improve client loyalty, and enhance our brand-to-client experience.


- The event manager will be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning and managing our events' calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief objectives.


- Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will assist our organization in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing client and employee relations, and improve our organization's growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality.


- The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time-management.


- Event Manager should reinforce client-to-business relations, improve the organization's image, and effectively deliver on event objectives.

Requirements :

- Project management experience.

- Communication and marketing skills.

- Proficiency in various event software.

- Expert interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Formulate, direct, and coordinate the event to promote services both domestically and internationally. To research, identify and convert new conference and events clients and agents.

- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, or new ways of reaching existing markets.

- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products and services and be able to advise others about them.

- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate in order to generate business.

- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.

- Market and promote the event or exhibition across multiple platforms, with key stakeholders, street banners and mass media advertisements.

- Plan and organize events with attention to financial and time constraints.

- Manage all event operations.

- Do event budget planning.

- Work on on-ground execution of events, webinars, email campaigns, surveys, lead generation campaigns, surveys etc.

Work Experience :

- 4-8 Yrs experience in Sales Exhibitor / Event Management is a must.

- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

- Astute business sense and analytical ability with great articulation skills

- Deep industry knowledge of B2B industries

- Prior operations, and vendor-management experience.

- Strong organization, problem solving skills.

- Strong understanding of the sales process and excel at researching leads and forging new relationships.

- Prior experience in planning and executing events and webinars.

- Must have team handling experience.

Knowledge/ Skills :

- High level of ownership, willingness to set up things from scratch, high emotional intelligence.

- Energetic person that will thrive in high velocity environment

- A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level.

- You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
