Job Overview :

- Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing and editing skills. As a content editing specialist, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented.

- You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals.

- Your duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.

Responsibilities :

- Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets.

- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout.

- Proof-read all content and information before it is published across customer-facing platforms.

- Assist the creative graphic design team in designing visuals in order to make written and visual content cohesive.

- Develop and manage a team of copywriters, social media managers, and marketing managers for execution of long-term and short-term content output.

- Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year.

- Strategize and create content for social media channels and work towards building an active transport community online.

- Seek out backlink and joint blogging and content opportunities with third-party platforms.

- Regularly update and own the company's website.

Requirements :

- 4 to 6 years of work experience as a content editor or similar role.

- Understanding of copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing.

- Excellent writing and editing skills.

- Ability to write simply yet effectively.

- Attention to detail.

- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems.

- Familiarity with SEO and keyword search (content development keeping SEO search ability/optimization in mind).

- Creatively inclined and ability to come up with innovative concepts and turn them around quickly.

- B.Sc. degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field.
