EXL Service - Senior Consultant - Decision Analytics - IIT/IIM/JNU/ISI

Key Responsibilities / Role:

Self-driven Python data scientists having 1-4 years of experience of coding in Python.

Must have knowledge in the following areas:

1. Data Structures - Lists, Tuples & Dictionaries

2. Familiarity with pandas, numpy, scikit-learn & scipy

3. Text mining techniques and libraries in Python - e.g. NLTK basics

4. Develop logics to process data using SAS, SQL in Unix environment

5. Provides input to the development of key metrics for developing dashboards in Tableau, R Shiny, Excel

6. Provides guidance, training and problem solving assistance to other team members

7. Layout process for the development of business intelligence solutions

8. Works on multiple tasks/projects as team member

9. Provides subject matter expertise for key BI core Functions

10. Participates in work stream planning process including inception, technical design, development,testing and delivery of BI solutions

11. Works with internal and external customers to gather and validate requirements

12. Provides input to business requirements for the design of solutions

13. May determine and analyze commonly used Queries and Reports

Candidate profile:

- Ability to analyze and review client business data to identify key indicators pertaining to operations, risk, finance & compliance. Design and implement analytical business and technology solutions to meet identified key indicators. Ability to build client analysis solutions around customer insights, segmentation and marketing in a b2b business.

- Typically requires minimum of 1+ years of SAS / R, SQL experience

- Should be well versed in SAS and relational databases

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

- Excellent Communication skills

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Statistics from top-tier institutes (IIT/IIM/JNU/ ISI)

- Knowledge of one or more business functional areas.

- Prior Banking, Financial, Retail domain experience.

- Proactively takes lead in building and leveraging relationships internally and externally/ client
