Basic Function :

This role is primarily responsible for long term planning, defining technology roadmap, solution designing, enterprise and business IT enablement initiatives, timely response to RFP/RFI & getting Technology Infrastructure related projects executed in timely manner.

Interact with clients, presales, transitions team for right & saleable solution approach, interactions with experts in the industry for design, implementation, business continuity & disaster/recovery, documentation, quality, performance management, & infrastructure management

Essential Functions :

- Lead the network, voice & enterprise computing services from technology infrastructure management, business needs and its technology mapping/enablement point of view

- Participate in project planning sessions with Technology Client Projects team, Business leaders and Facilities Projects Team to analyze business / technology requirements and outline the proposed technology infrastructure solution(s)

- Responsible for supporting the EXL Pre-sales & Technology Client Projects team, in a technology infrastructure enablement during all phases of a new client relationship

- Interface with clients to assess their technical requirements / expectations from the enterprise technology infrastructure initiatives

- Ensure the timeliness and quality of all technology infrastructure project deliverables including conducting solution reviews, and overseeing all infrastructure related quality initiatives

- Interact with internal senior leadership and external clients to represent the technology infrastructure domain

- Technology Infrastructure Management (LAN, WAN, Contact Center, Telecom architecture, enterprise computing), Capacity Planning, Projects Deployment, Planning and Implementation of new delivery centers.

- Oversee the infrastructure, planning and projects to ensure its effective management are typically undervalued to the detriment of the organization, enable enterprise automation, Reduce duplication of effort

- Ensure adherence to standards and interoperability while designing, solutioning, implementations or infrastructure augmentations.

- Detailed understanding on various contact center methodology, computing technology & enterprise data networking

- Determine the viability of TCO (total cost of ownership) compared to the TBO (total benefits of ownership) of the purchase model, initiatives on business and enterprise technology enablement and cost optimizations

- Budget planning & tracking, technology roadmap creation for automation and value addition in terms of capacity and capability creation for business/infrastructure services and adherence to its timely execution

- People and client management, leadership quality, skills and demonstration

- Ability to operate at all levels within the organization and cross functionally within multiple Client organizations.

Primary Internal Interactions :

- Technology Transitioning/presales Team

- Intra-functional interactions for various projects.

- Management level engagements

Primary External Interactions :

- Interacting with all the clients for devising a solution, while transitioning.

- Interaction with vendors/ OEMs during Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting.

Organizational Relationships :

Reports To : Sr AVP- Technology Infrastructure Services

Supervises : Sr. Mgr, Mgr - Technology Infrastructure Services

Skills :

Technical Skills :

- Good Understanding on various aspects of technologies-

Process Specific Skills :

- Good understanding and familiarity with ITIL & Project management frameworks

Soft skills (Desired) :

- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within and outside the organization, including senior management and

- Good leadership skills.

- Excellent written and presentation skills

- Conduct regular team meetings to review, approve and monitor goals, owning and ensuring their success.

Soft Skills (Minimum) :

Education Requirements :

- Graduate (B.E./MCA/MBA)

Work Experience Requirements :

- 13-16 years experience in a role overseeing IT infrastructure integration design, solutioining, implementation and infrastructure management
