Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish):
- Responsible for managing end to end procurement activities related to Professional services category
- Hands on experience in SoW creation and contracting skills preferred
- Demonstrate Strategic sourcing experience and lead supplier selection, negotiation, supplier management and identify cost savings opportunities
Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned):
- Ensure adherence to Procurement policy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) while performing sourcing activities
- Demonstrate category procurement experience, formulate and implement strategy
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Manage RFX process
- Evaluation of suppliers, Negotiation, Contracting and carry out market analysis
- Drive supplier base optimization without compromise on quality, cost & business continuity
- Responsible for identification of cost saving initiatives and drive cost savings
- Demonstrate strong customer focus (internal stakeholders) and strong internal collaboration
- Responsible for day to day management of procurement activities
- Closure of agreements / contracts for the outsourced activities
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position):
- Overall experience of 7-10 years with minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, preferably in Professional services category
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Graduation in Science or Commerce; Post-graduation would be preferred
- Experience in managing RFX process and evaluation of suppliers
- Strong supplier management skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Hands on experience in using Office Applications like Word, Excel and Access
- Knowledge in e sourcing, market research, bench marking would be preferred
- Knowledge in cost & supplier financial health analysis would be preferred

- Specific Qualification Requirement, If any ( Eg: CA, LLB): Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Graduation in Science or Commerce; Post-graduation would be preferred
- Industry Preference (Insurance, Telecom, BFSI) - BFSI, Services Industry
- Position reports to - Vice President- Procurement
- % Travel Required in this Position - Very minimal.
