Position Summary:  - To underwrite new proposals as per company laid down Underwriting guidelines and manage team along with processes like Group Underwriting, daily productivity and managing sales queries  Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)  - Underwriting of group and individual proposals as per company laid down guidelines  - To manage and provide resolution to queries raised to underwriting department  - To prepare and publish regular productivity MIS  - To ensure proper documentation as per guidelines for easier underwriting of proposals  Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position)  - Team Management  - Underwriting knowledge  - Medical knowledge  - Graduate with relevant Insurance background preferably with Licenseiate, Associate or fellowship certification  Personal Attributes & Competencies  - Strong interpersonal skills  - Effective communication skills - both oral as well as written  - High energy-level and Can-do- attitude  - Computer savvy: Strong competence in MS Office especially in Excel and Power point  Performance Measures (The quantitative measures of the job's overall responsibility)  - Team Management  - To prepare the underwriting process guidelines as per the company's requirements for Group Business and manage the same  - To ensure proper documentation as per guidelines for easier underwriting of proposals
