Exide Life Insurance - Manager - Compliance & Regulatory

Responsible for embedding compliance in the organisation and monitoring, primarily relating to Regulatory requirements,AML policy. Responsible for reporting(s) to /liaison with FIU-IND, maintaining regulatory filing calendar and ensuring timely filings.

Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)

- Regulatory compliance calendar

- Regulatory filings

- Regulatory and compliance monitoring

- Regulatory presentations /update to the leadership team and board submissions

- Implementation of the AML Policy including coordinating and carrying out activities like monitoring, advice on CDD, presentation of necessary documents / policies

- Provide advice to management on Compliance Policies of policies / regulatory requirements, draw up plans and coordinate training and education programs for the employees and advisors.

- Manage regulatory correspondence by ensuring timely responses to regulatory communication, submission of reports/returns on time

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position)

- Should have a CA/CS/LLB qualification

- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience

- Knowledge of the insurance regulatory framework and principles of compliance

- Experience in the life insurance industry in a compliance & regulatory role would be highly desirable
