POSITION TITLE : General Manager- Sales Support (Direct Channel)
BUSINESS UNIT : Sales Support
REPORTING TO : Executive Vice President - Direct Channel
NO OF REPORTEES : 4-6
LOCATION : Head Office, Bangalore
Position Summary :
Formulating and implementing strategies and initiatives to achieve the business objectives for Direct Channel. Manage back-end sales operation and MIS system by providing robust system to field sales force enabling them drive their business efficiently.
Key Accountabilities :
1. Formulating R&R initiatives for the Channel on a monthly/quarterly and annual basis as per the requirements
2. Design and manage the sales force performance management system for enhancing productivity of FOS
3. Design and manage the sales force compensation structure with a focus on driving higher variable earnings for the field sale force
4. Design and manage business processes for enhancing cross-sell penetration in the overall business share for the channel
5. Manage the back-end sales operation and MIS support system for the channel including payouts, FOS promotions etc.
6. Liaison and coordinate with field sales leadership in ensuring a robust support system to field force
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications :
- Life Insurance Industry experience with at least 3-4 years in Direct Channel is a must
- Overall 12 to 15 years of experience with at least 5-6 years in Sales Support and Strategy role in Head Office
- Should be high on Domain Knowledge
- Should possess cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
- Should possess excellent communication skills
