POSITION TITLE: DGM - Telesales  BUSINESS UNIT: Direct Marketing  REPORTING TO: EVP - Direct Channel  NO OF REPORTEES: 25-50 TRO- s, 2 TL's Trainer and QA  LOCATION : Bangalore   Position Summary :  Responsible for executing the business plan for Telesales channel along with delivering targeted revenue for the financial year.  Key Accountabilities :  1. Manage a build a strong telemarketing team for the organization with Team leaders, trainers and quality analysts  2. Intervene for Training the team on product and selling techniques and implement best practices across the industry for training and call quality.  3. Manage Productivity and performance.  4. Manage Telemarketing business and will be responsible for P and L of the Telemarketing Business.  5. Work closely with campaign management and IT Teams in order to implement important initiatives pertaining to campaigns and technology.  6. Drive a performance culture within the team and set up strong sustainable processes.  7. Manage stake holders and liaise with Regional heads and area heads to get best conversions on no. of leads generated.  8. Manage Attrition Hire and retain and retain the best people across the insurance industry  9. Oversee dialer management, work force management and work closely with campaign management and IT teams to implement important projects for Direct marketing  10. Manage Vendors and service partners effectively and define SLA's which will have long term ROI  Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications :  1. Graduate/ Post Graduate / MBA with 12 years of overall all work experience and at least 7 years- experience in managing People and manager of people .  2. Should be currently managing a Telemarketing set up in the Life insurance industry or a service partner associated with the insurance industry  3. Should have minimum 5 years- experience in managing life insurance sales.  4. Should have exceptional communication both (written and verbal) and presentation skills.  5. Should demonstrate leadership qualities and should have a strong track record of performance and people management in the organizations where he or she has worked.  6. Should have sound knowledge of dialer CRM and latest technology that is used in the contact center environment.  7. Exposure to project management and six sigma certification will be an added advantage   Personal Attributes & Competencies :  1.
