Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Operations Manager to oversee the Electrode Manufacturing process at our state-of-the-art Li-ion Cell Gigafactory.
The Production Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of electrode production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Line Management: Assume leadership of the electrode manufacturing process line, including scheduling, coordinating activities, and ensuring adherence to production plans and targets.
2. Production Coordination: Collaborate closely with production engineering, maintenance, and logistics teams to coordinate resources, materials, and equipment for electrode manufacturing, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
3. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that electrodes meet or exceed quality standards, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.
4. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate electrode manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement, implementing process enhancements and best practices to drive productivity and efficiency.
5. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of production operators and technicians, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure that team members are trained, motivated, and aligned with production goals.
6. Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the electrode manufacturing process line, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
7. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the electrode manufacturing process line, tracking production metrics and reporting on performance to management on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in electrode manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve production goals.
- Solid understanding of electrode manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with production line management software and tools is a plus.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
