Executive - Program Management - Product Development Cycle - Engineering/Manufacturing Product

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will support the Manager, Program Management for the India business to support New Product Development & VAVE Initiatives, using Project Management techniques, to see that R&D improves its responsiveness in meeting customer requirements of Time & Quality through timely availability of proto & pre-production batches.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Work with R&D team in creating the CFT action plan for all types of projects

2) Drive cross functional project reviews and related events

3) Participate in the weekly project meetings & update the action plan & publish the weekly report

4) Participate in team reviews and ensure availability (in collaboration with Manufacturing, Sourcing, Purchase & IQA) of components, subassemblies, tooling, etc. for all TG, Non-TG & VAVE projects

5) Timely escalate issues to debottleneck & resolve for adherence to the milestones

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

1) Experience of working in a cross-function environment to deliver project deliverables

2) Exposure to new product development and prototyping of an engineering/manufacturing product

3) Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including customers

4) Ability to work closely with global interfaces.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production) with 2 to 4 years of experience in Project Management with exposure to product development cycle of an engineering / manufacturing product
