Job purpose:-
This position is responsible for the identification and design, development and implementation of learning and development courses for the organization to support the overall business strategy and help the business grow through it employees and Learning & Development initiatives. Furthermore, the role is to develop and enhance the business's talent and evolve future leaders and focus & drive employee engagement activities.
Key job responsibility:
- Produce organizational strategy and plans to meet learning and development needs and manage training delivery, measurement and follow-up as necessary.
- Plan departmental/functional training budgets, forecast costs and allocate budgets as required by organizational planning and budgeting systems.
- Assess relevant training needs for employees and organization basis relevant skill and competency levels required for effective performance, in consultation with Business / Department Heads, including assessment methods and measurement systems entailed.
- Design training courses and programs necessary to meet training needs, or manage this activity via internal / external trainers. Plan and deliver training courses personally where necessary to compliment that provided externally or internally by others.
- Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies, agencies and providers necessary to deliver required training to appropriate standards.
- Organize training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required, to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery. Arrange for the maintenance of all necessary content, materials relating to the effective delivery and measurement of training.
- Carry out the employee engagement survey, share results followed by action plan and metrics that will enable tracking the progress at both an organization & business unit level to create action that drives positive employee engagement.
- Develop and implement effective plans, strategies, procedures and policies and take responsibility for their ongoing monitoring to support an integrated approach to talent management. Will be involved in supporting the planning of L&D activities to meet organizational needs and analyze progress against the overall Talent Management strategy.
- Monitor and report on activities, costs, performance, etc, as required.
