Job Title: EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Reports to: CEO

Location: DELHI

Introduction:

Our client is grassroot not-for-profit organisation, deeply focused on challenges faced by marginalized communities. The organization works towards rural transformation through better rural livelihoods, rural education and rural healthcare, skilling and involving the community, the government and the marketplace. The organization is looking for a dynamic leader with a passion to make a difference for the poorest communities in India, to join as the Executive Leadership for one of their incubate companies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Overall Strategy and Direction

- Ensure Mission compliance and mobilization of stakeholders for Mission accomplishment.

- Driving overall business Strategy in alignment with Vision, Mission and Objectives.

- Driving performance

- Monitor organizational KPIs evaluate results, and take actions for improvement.

- Identify the need for resources (People and Technological) and process enhancement to the organisation's goals and objectives. Initiate necessary interventions such as recruitment, bringing technological solution etc.

- Review annual work plans and monitor the implementation of these plans.

- Identify gap areas / issues / lagging activities and initiate corrective measures.

- Participate in regular field visits to assess the performance of regional teams in alignment with agreed targets.

- Regular team performance reviews in alignment with KPIs / agreed goals or outcome and initiating corrective measures.

- Review Budget, Revenue projections and Cash flows for the organisation.

- Domain Expertise / Value Add

- Review / appraise of business plans.

- Driving innovative ideas for value chain development and other areas.

- Provide technical expertise and content, regulations and requirements to Producer organizations staff and other stakeholders.

- Provide supervision for subcontracts / grants to increase value chain competitiveness through value addition and technology transfer.

- Inculcate culture of knowledge and knowledge management.

- Technology Enablement of processes at the Company.

- Provide supervision and direction to staff and consultants.

- Liaison with Partners & Stakeholders

- Engage with counterpart in government to build robust formal and informal partnerships.

- Assist team for building linkages with marketing firms to improve product offerings to meet market demands.

- Coordinate and communicate on a regular basis with principal promoters.

- Identify promising and innovative opportunities and partnerships for further development within the program.

- Procedural issues oversight and meetings

- Oversee statutory compliances, Tax filings etc.

- Oversee issues related to the organisation setup / compliances

- Oversight for conducting board meetings and implementing the action items

- Represent the organisation in key meetings

- Review and prepare progress reports (weekly, quarterly) for stakeholders.

- Team building

- Trainings and team-building exercises

The need for flexibility is required and the job holder is expected to carry out any other related duties that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Must Haves:

- Master's degree / Post Graduate or equivalent

- Minimum 15 years of total experience with atleast 10 years in a leadership position.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, including good oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.

- Commitment and interest of working in the development sector.

- Skills and experience in strategic planning, management, supervision, and budgeting, and managing complex activities.

- Knowledge and experience in organization development and people management, with the ability to mentor, lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team.

- Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate and yet work collaboratively with a multitude of stakeholders.

- Prior experience of representing the organization in various forums
