Job Purpose:
- Manage the Carry and Forwarding Agents at the Transhipment locations (TL's) and ensure adherence to the operational / legal / commercial and safety aspects of warehouse operations.
Transhipment location Operations Management:
- Manage godown operations including statutory compliance's and safety
- Review the performance of CFA teams of the 2 TL's that the individual shall handle - ensure health card achievement of 90%
- Coordinate with the landlords and ensure amicable settlement of issues
- Liaison with internal Industrial Relations / Legal / taxation / accounts teams for resolution of issues / concerns
- Safety parameters are tracked and all compliances are in place
- Roll out certain productivity improvement initiatives at the TL's
- Analysis of dispatches and ensure VDPT is under control
- Drive and help build safety culture and roll out the safety initiatives planned
- Conduct monthly / quarterly audits for safety /operational /5S areas at the TL's
- Manage various vendors / service providers for carrying out any work at the TL's
People Management Scope:
- 1 direct and team of 60-80 CFA workforce at TL's
