Executive Director - Mobile Communication Networking Technologies

Role : End to end responsibility for all technical activities related to the Projects at IISc to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of outcomes.

Primary goal will be the "confidential" project but responsibility would involve managing other projects and deliverables simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:

- Defining the project roadmap and managing the end to end execution and deliverables across multiple projects

- Lead the design and development for IISc's contribution to the Project

- Feature Enhancements and active contributions to the Global Open Source (eg OAI/ SRS)

- Global Collaborations related to Mobile Communication Networking Technologies

- Hiring and day-to-day technical management of the IISc team

- Multisite cross functional team collaboration and communication

- Participating in the development and execution of the Test Strategy to deliver production quality release

- Release planning and management

- Planning and Management of pilots and trials

- Reports, demos, and presentations to funding agencies and partners

- Participation in open source governance activities and meetings and contributing to success of overall project
