Executive Director - Fintech, Healthcare - Investment bank

- Ideate and Originate business from a range of Indian & International PE funds across the gamut of products with a focus on generating fee income

- Strong relationships with Private Equity / Venture Capital funds & other investment firms, including an active mapping of identified funds' relevant investment/operating teams and acting as their thought partner

- Comprehensively track investments made by funds through their lifecycle with an eye for potential fee opportunities

- Developing an understanding of funds' investment criteria such as size, sector focus etc and showcasing opportunities based on the same

- Collaborate with coverage teams to proactively ideate on buy-side/sell-side situations and other relevant solutions that will be of interest to funds and their portfolio companies

- Leverage on the strength of relationships to advise PE / VC funds on their portfolio companies regarding coverage targets/segmental sale and eventual monetization options (on and off exchange) including strategic divestment opportunities

- Take a lead in transaction closure process including term-sheet signing, due diligence organization, negotiations, deal structuring, definitive documentation and overall process management

- Organize work, manage multiple projects, coordinate with different teams, meet deadlines with an attention to detail & process discipline

- Help mentor junior team members in the professional growth journey

Relevant Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

- Excellent written & oral communication skills, good personality, strong analytical ability

- Ability to articulate complex problems in a clear, concise and compelling manner, with an ability to work under extreme pressure situations

- Experience in execution of IB deals for Large/Mid corporate clients with hands on knowledge on running the end to end deal process, documentation & closure formalities

- Quality, content and detail orientation while assessing the draft / final information memorandum, financial models and other deal collaterals

- Must be resourceful in terms of network of friends and professional connects in the industry to source market intelligence, with an ability to grasp the tenets of multiple sectors

Candidate Profile:

- Candidate must have minimum 14 - 20 years of deal making experience involving PE's/ Investors - past interactions with PE Funds including existing relationships/connects at various levels are a pre requisite

- Demonstrated ability of running multiple mandates simultaneously and a successful execution track record

- Good understanding of multiple sectors
