A leadership role for Hedge Fund Accounting aspirants with 18 years of experience in Accounting with exposure to US GAAP, Luxemburg GAAP or UK GAAP and IFRS. You will develop solutions for Hedge Fund, Private Equity and Fund of Hedge Fund clients seeking independent administration, custody services or back-office operations outsourcing. You will also lead and coordinate transformation for a large Hedge Fund Accounting group. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR - Managing the Fund Accounting and Reconciliation functions for portfolio of Hedge Funds for multiple regions (EMEA and US) - Managing end-to-end process across Reconciliation, Accounting and GAV/NAV calculation. - Managing internal controls, checklists, procedures, and interaction with internal audit, implementing change and constantly creating efficiencies in operating model. - Understanding client relationships and expectations and ensure client deliverables are timely and accurate - Leading transformation for the entire FA group with respect to ongoing simplification of organization, streamlining operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiencies with help of AI and RPA. - Managing fund compliance with partnership agreements and other legal and regulatory requirements. - Collaborating and executing automation projects and new initiatives THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE - - Qualified CA or MBA Graduate with 18 years of experience in accounting with exposure to US GAAP, Luxemburg GAAP or UK GAAP and IFRS. - Significant experience and proven record of accomplishment in managing large teams and previous hedge fund accounting experience required. - Advent Geneva and/or Investran knowledge preferred. - Fully accountable to Client deliverables and Senior Management for all reporting activities within the group. - Must be a team player with the ability to network with co-workers but also have the ability to work independently and prioritize own workflows. - Proactive attitude, ability to multi-task and work to tight reporting deadlines.
