Executive Director
- Manages administrative functions of the University of Legal Studies.
- Develops the Institute's strategic initiatives and participates in the university's long-term planning and policy setting.
- Provides senior-level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resources, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and Management.
- Additionally, reports to top management.
- The Senior Director of Law manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-departments and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a director of law typically requires 15+ years of experience.
Qualification and Skills:
- PhD, Doctoral Qualification or Professorship with exp of 15 years+
- Outstanding legal academic credentials, including legal publications;
- Administrative and intellectual leadership;
- Ability and commitment to integrate and advance the University's core values, mission, and vision into the operation and planning of the University Institute of Legal Studies
- Strong business acumen and experience managing large budgets:
- A record of involvement with, and understanding of, the national legal education system;
- Expertise in legal education, understanding of pedagogy, and commitment to experiential education;
- Demonstrated ability to innovate academic programs and organizations for increased effectiveness and responsiveness within a changing environment.
