Executive Assistant to President - Explosives Business - Explosives/Chemicals/Petrochemicals/Oil & Gas Industry

Our client is a publicly listed, multiproduct Indian conglomerate with an annual turnover of over 4200cr with a multi-product portfolio spanning industrial chemicals, bulk and specialty fertilisers, farming diagnostics and solutions, technical ammonium nitrate, mining services and consulting and value added real estate. They currently have 4 manufacturing facilities and are establishing 4 other green field projects across India eyeing 2x turnover globally. They are looking for an EA to President-Explosives Business based out of Pune.

Reporting into the President-Explosives Business you will be responsible for:

- Reviewing meeting preparation and ATR tracking (MCM & ORM) by defining the agenda for the ORM and MCM, ensuring teams- preparation for the agenda, leading definition of agenda for key meetings within operations and preparing presentations for CMD review, board review

- Preparing Budget and tracking of key indicators of Ops performance and providing appropriate MIS and ensure that Ops head is able to prioritize areas to intervene where deviations are being seen

- Managing IMPACT center management across RM IMPACT Centre & Ops IMPACT Centre by coordinating with PMO Head to ensure IMPACT center is run effectively; priorities for the business are covered under respective IMPACT centers (through PMO head)

- Identifying, tracking and regular reporting of Strategic initiatives to President and also supporting in identification of additional projects that need to be undertaken by operations and in driving key operations priorities like OEE, production plan adherence, cost reduction through teams within operations

- Reviewing business cases as part of the NFA process; summarize action points, Identifying recurrent issues in business case quality and put in place corrective mechanism and also providing analytics support, coach teams to create business cases.

- Supporting teams to ensure timely update to defined MIS reports - MCM (management committee meeting), ATR (Action taken report), MD reviews and advising management on key decisions through analysis, discussions with stakeholders.

- Managing internal / consulting data requests / inputs.

- Reviewing and Analyzing of NFAs / Capexes before approval

- Coordinating effectively with the Unit Heads/Peers on various Initiatives in Manufacturing & Supply Chain

Ideally you are a Chemical/Production Engineer and a MBA with 5-10 years of experience either in industries such as: Explosives/Chemicals/Petrochemicals/Oil & Gas/ or should have a mix of experience in Consultancy firms and the mentioned industries. You should have atleast 2-3 years of experience in Chemicals manufacturing out of your overall experience. You should have experience of interacting with senior management and should have strong oral and written communication. You should have excellent stakeholder management skills and interpersonal skills. You should have strong anlaytical abilities and should be comfortable to work in a cross-functional environment
