DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Be a bridge for smooth communication between the MD and all teams; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management and the firm at large - Work closely and effectively with the MD to keep him well informed on all strategic matters - Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the MD updated. - Ideate with and on behalf of the MD for the future course of the firm from a strategic perspective. Constantly question and challenge the status quo to improve/change the business model. - Act as a single point of contact for all strategic and operational projects being run from the MDs office. - Projects may range from minor operational improvements to significant strategic flavor - Provide the MD consistently a thorough and detailed analysis of the progress on various fronts - Develop and maintain credibility with all teams to ensure project progress in spirit - Understand the different levers of business and ideate/continue the projects being run to ensure that organization is evolving as per the market realities - Ideal candidate should be looked at as an extension of the MD across the organization - Voice or guidance of the EA should be perceived as the voice of MD over-time. This will require a strong relationship and credibility of the EA with all leaders and organization at large - Progress on projects to be ensured by the EA not necessarily from a compliance perspective rather in spirit - Have the ability to absorb and value add in discussions with MD/leaders on medium-long term business strategy of the firm Ideal Candidate will be: - MBA from a reputed institute with a post MBA experience of 2 years (+-) - Excel and Power-point ninja - Excellent in building relationships and getting the work done with own credibility than with MDs push - Hunger to change things at a fundamental level and create a long term business impact
