Role:
To support Managing Director Corporate Functions SBU with respect to sub functions such as Legal, Business Development, Domestic Mine Auction and Mine Development, Procurement, Contracts & Commercial functions of mining Sector on a day-to-day basis.
Key Accountabilities:
Business inputs to Managing Director & Head Corporate Functions SBU on a day-to-day basis on all functional aspects with respect to Legal, Business Development including Mine Auction, Mine Development, Procurement and Commercial & Contracts functions and any other business requirements and assignments as per the organizational requirements
Coordination with all Functional Heads on regular meetings, reviews and follow-ups on ATRs
Support Managing Director in planning his visits & meeting with Projects/Plants, external stakeholders, govt. officials, etc.
Responsible for driving business initiatives in coordination with all the Functional Heads
Responsible collation of AOP, MIS, Monitoring & Control of Budgets, etc. with appropriate inputs to the Managing Director
To assist the Managing Director with market intelligence on Legal and Regulatory aspects including inputs and support on policy changes and policy advocacy
External/Internal interaction:
Govt. Officials, Stakeholders
Business Partners, etc.
Other SBU Heads, Functional Heads, Finance Heads
Mandatory Skills & Knowledge required:
Financial Modeling in mining
Regulatory environment in Mining Business
Project Execution of Mining
Operational Aspects of Mining
Business Impact through P&L Statements
Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements
In- depth knowledge of Finance, Power Industry, mining industry, regulatory, etc.
Financial Dimensions: To monitor & keep track of AOP, Budgets and necessary inputs to Managing Director. Other Dimensions: Interpersonal skills to develop a healthy rapport with all the SBU heads including other stake holders and business heads
