Executive Assistant To Business Head - Strategy - Textile Sector

Job Purpose:

To proactively support the Business Head to realize his vision for the Textile Sector. Assist the BH of the Domestic textiles, Overseas Spinning and Acrylic Fibre business in the areas of conducting Business performance reviews, Planning and Budgeting exercise, Collecting business data and analysing the same, discerning the relevant business trends, development of possible scenarios, discussing the scenarios with BH in order to zero in on a particular direction.

Optimization of costs and realizing of synergies within the three businesses. Development of Dashboards along with IT team for meaningful data analytics and assist the Business Head in Transformational Projects.

Key Accountabilities:

Strategic Projects, Planning & Budgeting:

- Support the BH and Strategy Head on specific strategy projects as may be assigned from time to time.

- Work closely with BH in the Business transition and transformation plans/projects.

- Works closely with CXOs and FHs in the planning and budgeting activities.

- Co-ordinate the yearly process for the three Businesses.

- Ensure the numbers are correct and backed by correct assumptions before it is finalized.

Business Performance Analysis and Reviews:

- To support the BH in facilitating reviews on the delivery of strategic plan of Textile, Acrylic Fibre and Overseas Spinning business for the periodic Chairman Cell Reviews, P & B, BRC Sector Head, Monthly Business Reviews, Marketing Reviews etc and provide necessary inputs.

- Develop standardized formats for tracking the progress of new / critical business initiatives with help of respective business teams.

- Monthly Reviews Analyse monthly performance reports received from all businesses and highlight key developments to BH Organize Sales Calls with the Sales Team along with BH and BD and share update on the sales performance .

- Enabling decision making through in-depth analysis and operational insights

- Support Business CEOs and CXOs in integrating Business Communication Plans & also to develop standardized MIS.

Communication Meetings with Units:

- Analysis of Best Practices across units and industry and along with the latest trends in industry.

- Communication to the units with an intention to disseminate learnings and keep the team updated on latest trends.

Competition Analysis:

- P&L analysis of major competitors and player across the category.

- Bench marking of key financial parameters with them.

- Analysis of schemes, product launches, brand campaign etc
