We'll trust you to:
- Process research requests using the most relevant internal and external information sources,
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from financial databases on open ended industry requests,
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and deliver as per deadline,
- Manage workflow and liaise with clients' internal library teams,
- Provide training to researchers to upscale their skillset and mentor them and quality check their work whenever required,
- Work in shifts (including night shifts) as per project requirement.
What you'll need to have:
- Should be comfortable using following databases - Thomson Research, Factiva, Moody's, Fitch, Standard & Poor's, Alacra, FactSet, Avention (OneSource), and few industry databases such as Profound, IDC, Gartner, SDC, Dealogic, Euromonitor, IHS,
- Experience in handling both Company and simple Industry research.
Good understanding of:
- Company filings such as 10K, 10Q, 20F, Investor Presentations etc.
- Industry metrics such as Same-store-sales, NRx, TRx, ARPU, GLA, RPK,
- Strong understanding of financial concepts,
- Should be able to spread financial or other numbers in an excel file,
- Understanding of market share and company screening,
- Ability to understand and formalize required end deliverables within defined timelines,
- Candidates must be able to work under pressure and thrive in a deadline driven environment,
- Must have good lateral thinking, be decisive and self-confident,
- Good MS Office skills & presentation skills.
Education and Experience:
- MBA (finance) or equivalent,
- 3-5 years of experience in business information research / library services / information research,
- Knowledge of industry specific databases such as SDC, Dealogic, Thomson Research, Factiva, FactSet, IDC, Gartner, Wood Mack.
