We'll trust you to:
- Process research requests using the most relevant internal and external information sources,
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from financial databases on open ended industry requests,
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements and deliver as per deadline,
- Manage workflow and liaise with clients' internal library teams,
- Provide training to researchers to upscale their skillset and mentor them and quality check their work whenever required,
- Work in shifts (including night shifts) as per project requirement.
What you'll need to have:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,
- Ability to gather information using Thomson Research, Factiva, Profound, IDC, Gartner, SDC, Dealogic, Euromonitor, IHS, and other industry specific databases,
- Knowledge of company filings, such as 10K, 10Q, 20F, as well as investor presentations
- Experience in working on specific and niche industry requests and good understanding of industry metrics, such as same-store-sales, NRx, TRx, ARPU, GLA, and RPK,
- Strong understanding of financial concepts,
- Understanding of Equity Capital, Debt Capital, and M&A market,
- Understanding of market share, M&A screening, company screening and industry outlook,
- Excellent MS Office and presentation skills,
- Preference will be given to specialists in the retail, energy, healthcare, technology and media, industrials, and real estate industries, and FIG.
Education and Experience
- MBA (finance) or equivalent
- 6-9 years of experience in business information research / library services / information research
- Knowledge of industry specific databases such as SDC, Dealogic, Thomson Research, Factiva, FactSet, IDC, Gartner, Wood Mack,
